The word ‘Micro’ indicates which is small and ‘processor ‘indicates which carries out computation.
Basically Microprocessors are programmable digital electronic component, can execute a set of stored instructions to carry out user defined functions by accessing external memory chips (Read and write Data from and to the memory).
